Steeprock River Outfitters specializes in spring and fall Black Bear hunts with over 2,500 square miles of our own exclusive hunting territory. The two biggest areas that we hunt in are the breathtaking Porcupine Provincial Forest, and near the beautiful shoreline of Lake Winnipegosis. Each of our Black Bear hunts have a great percentage of seeing several different types of Black Bears including, harvesting a big or color phased Black Bear. We run at a 40% success rate on our color phased Black Bears, harvest Boone & Crockett, and Pope & Young Bears each year. With well established Bear baits, well placed, and comfortable archery and rifle stands this hunt is ideal for archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunters which makes this Manitoba Black Bear hunt extremely accommodating for any type of hunter. An added bonus while hunting with us is that a Timber Wolf and Coyote may be harvested during our fall Black Bear season at NO additional cost!
